The area just got hit with storms this weekend yet again! So...the new scam the out-of-town tree companies are doing during the storm is this: they have one company come in and bid your emergency job at 80K. Then they have another company come in and bid at 50. Both tree companies look to be different, when in reality, its two companies working together. You think you are getting a good deal. You saved 30K (or so you think)! They are making you think you saved money, but in reality, they are splitting their ill-gotten profits. They are in cahoots. Always pick a company that is local, the out-of-towners are only here to get rich.
